According to the Finnish Social Science Data Archive's (FSD) instructions, part of an efficient data management plan is to identify
- Who holds the copyright and intellectual property rights of the data?
- What kind of ownership issues are involved?
- What kind of rights will be granted to different user groups for reading and managing data files?
To help the Finnish universities and research groups in tackling their data ownership and copyright issues, Open Science and Research Initiative develops tools, contract examples, process descriptions and academia's best practices to be shared openly on the openscience.fi webpage.
