National Strategy Group

The aim of the strategy group is to bring together the research community to promote open science. All the key organisations in the Finnish research community have nominated their representatives to the Strategy Group. The current Strategy Group will work till the end of 2019.

The strategy group promotes national open science strategies and other national open science policies and recommendations. The Strategy Group prepares strategies and policies in cooperation with the expert groups. All national strategies and policies will be offered for broad commentary and will thus be a result of consultation with the research community. The Strategy Group thus brings together the voice of the research community and, on that basis, sets the shared direction. The mandate of the Strategy Groups's activities arises from a wide represenation of its participants, open commentary on all strategy drafts, and principles of co-writing.

The Strategy Group meets bi-monthly. The meeting memos (in Finnish) are available on this page. The agenda will also be shared before the meeting. The research community are invited to suggest items for the meeting agenda. The easiest way to do this is to contact the secretary of the Strategy Group: henriikka.mustajoki@tsv.fi
