Doria, Theseus and other Publication Archive Services

The National Library of Finland maintains and develops publication archive services for universities, polytechnics, research institutes and central government offices. Research organisations can also have their own parallel publication archives and services.

Doria contains resources by universities and research institutes and digitalized collections of the National library of Finland. Theseus provides online access to theses and publications from the Finnish Universities of Applied Sciences. Doria and Theseus are both based on open source DSpace software.

The National Library of Finland maintains also other publication archive services for its clients, such as Julkari, Jukuri, TamPub, Lauda and Valto. The National Library of Finland is in charge of the technical infrastructure of the services, whereas the universities, research institutes and central government offices are in charge of the contents and management of the archived collections. Theseus is a service provided by Arene ry – the Rectors' Conference of Finnish Universities of Applied Sciences.
